    Job Description

Service Advisor — Heritage Ford of Vernal

Location: Vernal, UT Job Type: Full-Time Department: Service

    About the Role

Heritage Ford of Vernal is looking for a Service Advisor who knows how to make customers feel taken care of from the moment they pull in. You'll be the main point of contact between our customers and our service team — listening to concerns, recommending the right work, keeping people informed, and making sure every visit ends with a satisfied customer who trusts us with their next visit too.

This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys the sales side of service (recommending maintenance, upselling where it makes sense, hitting targets), and genuinely cares about the customer experience.

    What You'll Do

    • Greet customers promptly and professionally, and guide them through the write-up process
    • Listen to customer concerns and translate them into clear, accurate repair orders for our technicians
    • Recommend needed maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer schedules and technician findings, and clearly explain costs and timelines
    • Keep customers updated throughout the service process — no surprises at pickup
    • Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and build long-term loyalty
    • Manage multiple repair orders at once, keeping the shop schedule organized and on track
    • Meet or exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction (CSI) targets
    • Partner with technicians and parts staff to keep jobs moving efficiently
    • Handle pricing, warranty information, and paperwork accurately

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience in a service advisor, service writer, or similar customer-facing automotive role preferred
    • A track record of strong customer satisfaction scores and repeat business
    • Comfortable with sales conversations — recommending services and closing on additional work
    • Highly organized, able to juggle multiple repair orders and priorities without dropping the ball
    • Clear communicator, both with customers and internally with the shop team
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Automotive service experience or dealership background a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person

    Why Heritage Ford of Vernal

    • Competitive pay plus performance-based incentives
    • Health, dental, and vision benefits
    • Paid time off
    • A supportive, team-first shop environment
    • Room to grow within the Heritage dealership network
