Position Summary We’re looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the primary point of contact between our customers and service team. You’ll greet customers, write and manage repair orders, communicate progress, and help ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do
Greet customers in a warm, friendly, consistent manner and perform unit walk-arounds.
Schedule service work appropriately; dispatch repair orders to technicians and track job status daily.
Create, update, and maintain repair orders with accurate documentation; obtain customer approvals and signatures.
Provide labor and parts estimates; coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure availability and on-time completion.
Run VINs for updates and warranty coverage for customer and sales units.
Communicate proactively with customers, set call-back times, and return calls/emails promptly.
Explain recommended and completed work clearly; suggest additional service/parts when appropriate.
Follow up with technicians and customers to drive progress, resolve issues, and build loyalty.
Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow dealership dress code and support team satisfaction goals.
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to build rapport with customers.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills (percentages, decimals, fractions) and comfort using spreadsheets/graphs as needed.
Computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to gather information and develop solutions.
Ability and desire to sell dealership products and services.
Valid driver’s license.
Manufacturer training/certification (or willingness to become fully certified and stay current).
Physical Requirements This role regularly involves sitting, standing, walking, talking/hearing, and frequent two-handed work. Vision requirements include close vision and color differentiation. Occasional lifting of 10–50 lbs.
