Description

Our client is a global technology leader specializing in precision measurement, motion control, healthcare, spectroscopy, and additive manufacturing. They are seeking a highly motivated Service and Support Engineer to deliver exceptional on-site and remote technical support for advanced 3D Additive Manufacturing systems. This role is on-site with some domestic travel of up to 50%, and offers an outstanding opportunity for hands-on professionals who enjoy working directly with customers in dynamic production environments. The position is central to maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our client's reputation for high-quality service through machine installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as customer training and technical consultation.

To be a qualified candidate, individuals must bring a strong technical foundation combined with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A minimum of an associate or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering-or equivalent field service experience in additive manufacturing or CNC machining-is required, along with eligibility to access ITAR-controlled data. Ideal candidates possess solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to read schematics and technical drawings. Proficiency with mid-size capital equipment, electrical measurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications is essential, as is the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams. A hands-on mindset, willingness to learn, comfort in fast-paced environments, and a valid driver's license round out the profile of a successful Service and Support Engineer.
