Service BDC Representative (Business Development Center)

Our Ford dealership is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service BDC Representative to help drive service appointment growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, texts, and emails.

  • Schedule service appointments for maintenance, repairs, recalls, and warranty work.

  • Follow up with customers due for service based on mileage, time, or manufacturer recommendations.

  • Contact customers regarding declined services and missed appointments.

  • Assist with service campaigns, customer retention efforts, and special promotions.

  • Confirm upcoming appointments and ensure customers are prepared for their visit.

  • Maintain accurate customer records in the dealership CRM system.

  • Work closely with service advisors and management to maximize service traffic and customer retention.

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly appointment and activity goals.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and phone skills.

  • Strong customer service mindset.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software and CRM systems.

  • Experience with CDK and TCC systems preferred.

  • Previous BDC, call center, customer service, or automotive experience required.

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet performance goals.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $3,500 - $5,000+ per month, depending on experience, skill set, performance, and results.
