BDC Representative

Every smooth service experience starts with great communication. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused BDC Representative to join our team and help deliver an exceptional experience for our customers from the first call to final pickup.

Position Overview

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer communication for our service department. This role focuses on appointment scheduling, customer retention, follow-up communication, and creating a positive first impression for every customer interaction.

This position will also assist with occasional cashier duties as needed, including processing customer payments and helping support front counter operations during busy periods.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, energetic, and comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and in person in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming service calls and customer inquiries
  • Schedule service appointments efficiently and accurately
  • Make outbound calls to:
    • Follow up on missed appointments
    • Re-engage inactive customers
    • Confirm upcoming appointments
    • Promote maintenance and service campaigns
  • Respond promptly to internet leads, texts, and emails
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM systems
  • Help drive CSI and customer retention goals
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and management
  • Assist with occasional cashier responsibilities including:
    • Processing payments
    • Closing repair orders
    • Assisting customers at the front counter
    • Balancing receipts and basic cashier support tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, BDC, call center, cashier, or dealership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and phone skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Experience handling payments and cash transactions is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating Saturdays.
