Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Support individuals as they navigate Medicaid, Social Security, and other essential programs
  • Work closely with professionals across a variety of fields in a collaborative, team-focused environment
  • Manage multiple cases, projects, and deadlines with strong organization and time-management skills
  • Build trusting relationships using excellent communication and people skills
  • Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and case documentation using computer-based systems
  • Empower individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence and growth

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to stay organized, efficient, and adaptable
  • Comfort working with diverse teams and handling multiple responsibilities
  • Computer literacy and confidence with electronic documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant full-time experience in services to individuals with developmental disabilities (may substitute for college at 6 months of experience per semester)
  • A genuine passion for helping people and supporting their personal development

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and six months full time experience in the field of human services required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional full time experience in the field of developmental disabilities services may be substituted for the degree at the rate of six months full time experience for each semester.
  • Other qualifications include experience with HCBS Waivers, strong oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and a valid Kansas driver’s license or access to transportation.
