Position: Social Service Coordinator Location: Diocesan Housing Services Village Apartments of Cherry Hill, NJ The Social Service Coordinator's responsibility is to enhance the ability of residents live independently in developments, and includes enhancing the work of the property management division, assessing needs, and linking residents and community members to services. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing educational opportunities promoting health and well-being, and developing and supporting, meaningful engagement between building residents and the surrounding community. The Social Service Coordinator will also perform administrative duties related to Housing. Qualifications Demonstrated working knowledge of community services in the region with particular knowledge of services that are provided for the population living within the facility. Trained in the aging process, elder services, disability services, drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues. Strong knowledge of the social service system for the elderly/disabled
