Service Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking Service Coordinators to serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their security and alarm systems. This role combines customer support, troubleshooting, and scheduling in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from customers regarding alarm/security systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with sensors, panels, batteries, and other equipment
  • Walk customers through systems (Honeywell, DMP, Alarm.com, Resideo)
  • Place systems on test mode to prevent emergency dispatch during servicing
  • Schedule technicians for onsite service when needed
  • Manage and prioritize a high-volume ticket queue (~200 open tickets)
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams and technicians to ensure timely service
  • Provide accurate information on services, inspections, and upgrades
Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of customer service or call center experience
  • Strong phone communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Experience in dispatching, technical support, or security/cabling industry
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Sedona, WeSuite, DocuSign, or Rapid Response
Ideal Candidate
  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure
  • Comfortable following structured troubleshooting processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Background in cable/internet troubleshooting or technical support is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
