1836 HD is seeking a Service Coordinator to manage the daily flow of operations across our shop and mobile service divisions. This role is responsible for scheduling, customer communication, estimates, payment collection, and maintaining accurate service records to ensure jobs are completed efficiently from intake to completion.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers—handling inbound calls, texts, and emails, gathering key information, and coordinating service requests with technicians. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active jobs at different stages without losing track of priorities.

The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping technicians productive and customers informed. You will be responsible for opening and managing service orders, preparing and communicating estimates, tracking job progress, and providing clear updates on timelines and scope. You will also assist with invoicing, collect payments, and ensure jobs are properly closed out and documented.

This is a fast-paced, operations-driven role where organization and accountability matter. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable discussing pricing, handling customer expectations, and ensuring payment is secured according to company policies.

Performance is a key part of this role. Success is measured by efficiency in scheduling, accuracy of service order management, customer communication, and timely collection of payments. This position is hourly with performance-based monthly bonuses tied to key metrics such as scheduling efficiency, job throughput, and payment collection.

Following a successful probationary period, there may be opportunities to transition into a salaried role for the right candidate based on performance and company needs.

1836 HD is not a high-volume, basic service shop. We specialize in advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and full system solutions across diesel trucks, RVs, and heavy equipment. Our work requires a higher level of coordination, communication, and professionalism, and this role is essential to maintaining that standard.

This position offers the opportunity to build a career within a growing company that values efficiency, integrity, and doing the job right. If you are looking for a role where your work directly impacts operations, revenue flow, and customer experience, this is a strong opportunity to grow with a team that takes pride in what they do.
