We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating technician schedules, prioritizing service calls, communicating with customers, and ensuring timely service delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong dispatching experience, and can effectively balance customer expectations with operational needs.

Essential Functions

  • Prioritize incoming service requests and dispatch technicians accordingly.
  • Coordinate technician schedules based on job duration, skill set, and geographic location to meet customer ETA expectations.
  •  Communicate professionally and effectively with customers regarding scheduling, updates, and service status.
  • Manage and adjust schedules throughout the day to accommodate urgent service needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.
  • Collaborate with technicians and management to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours scheduling and dispatch needs.
  • Ensure service calls are completed in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Previous dispatching experience.
  • Prior experience in a coordinator, scheduling, or administrative support role.
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Experience in the service, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades industry. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with BuildOps software. (Preferred)
