JOB SUMMARY:
The Service Coordinator I - CDA / ANGELS Workforce Program manages and supervises the compliance of training areas of Early Childhood in accordance with Minimum Standards, Early Head Start and Head Start Program Performance Standards and Guidelines, while ensuring that the services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed lens as defined by the agency. Functions include recruit and complete the intake process with service participants. Provide training to the service participants and walk them through the hiring process to be hired on part time.  Schedule the ANGELS weekly with our partners/ stakeholders. Provide and maintain good relationships with our partners/ stakeholders. Maintain files and data entry. Along with the oversight of day to day operations.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Reports to:             Manager, Service Coordinator II, or as designated.
2. Directs:                   Coordination of services with staff and volunteers; liaison with personnel and representatives                                                                 of collaborating agencies, community residents and others.
3. Other:                     Works cooperatively with all staff to accomplish the mission, goals, objectives and                                                                                     performance measures of the program and agency

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/Experience:
1. Associates degree and four (4) years experience or High school diploma/GED and eight (8) years experience in education, health, social work, or other related human service field, required.
 
2. Experience in working in a collaborative environment building organizational and stakeholder relationships and planning, required.

3. Previous direct services leadership experience.

4. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

1. Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner.

2. State of Texas vehicle operator's license and proof of liability insurance.

In collaboration with others, the mission of Family Service is to provide quality programs and services, which effectively assist and strengthen individuals and families in our community. Family Service provides more than 5,000,000 meals each year through a USDA food program in 85 Nebraska counties. This program feeds almost 21,000 children in more than 1,312 licensed home child-care facilities. Family Service delivers the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program to 3,000 people in Lancaster County each month.
