Service Coordinator

What You'll Do

No two days look exactly the same, but you can expect to:

• Welcome customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
• Listen carefully and accurately document repair concerns for our technicians.
• Open, manage, and close repair orders.
• Prepare service estimates and communicate repair recommendations.
• Keep customers informed with repair updates and estimated completion times.
• Answer questions and ensure customers have a positive service experience.
• Occasionally process payments for non-contracted customers.
• Track tire inventory and assist with inventory organization.
• Monitor shop and spare vehicles to help keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform miscellaneous shop inspections and support daily shop operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer area.

What You'll Bring

• Enjoys helping customers and building positive relationships.
• Has exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Can juggle multiple priorities without losing track of the details.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
• Is comfortable learning service processes and preparing repair estimates.
• Works well with technicians, customers, and other departments.
• Has solid computer skills and can quickly learn new systems.
• Takes pride in staying organized and following through.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience working in a service department, dealership, fleet, or repair shop.
• Experience creating estimates or managing repair orders.
• Inventory or parts experience.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, emergency vehicles, municipal equipment, or automotive service operations.

ADA Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently.
• Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
• Occasional climbing to reach areas on equipment or racks.
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently.
• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.
• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection.
