Service Coordinator

Job Summary

MSI-Viking Gage is looking for an organized, customer-focused Metrology Service Coordinator to join our Service team.

This position is a key link between our customers and our internal sales, lab, and technical teams. You’ll help coordinate calibration and repair work, manage service orders, provide updates to customers, and keep jobs moving from intake through completion.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, communicating with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Communicate with customers and provide updates on service orders
• Process customer purchase orders and create work orders
• Prepare quotes and schedule calibration and repair work
• Coordinate calibration schedules for company standards
• Invoice completed work orders
• Maintain accurate records and data within company systems
• Work closely with sales, lab, and technical teams to keep service work moving
• Help address customer questions and service-related needs
• Assist with additional warehouse or operational duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of scheduling, coordination, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work through interruptions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer-service mindset
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
