Summary of Service Coordinator and Dispatcher

DPT Service is hiring a Service Coordinator and Dispatcher for the State of Iowa and Illinois. In this role, the Service Coordinator will oversee all quoting activity for our service department and scheduling/dispatching technicians.

In this role:

· Process incoming requests from customers for service regarding their commercial HVAC equipment

· Contact manufacturer’s to obtain cost information via phone or email

· Compile and communicate quotes to customers

· Quote renewing or net new service contracts to customers

· Create relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotes

· Establish the schedule for each technician and provide relevant information

· Notify and confirm customers of upcoming service visits

· Adjust the schedule as needed for critical customer calls

· Follow-up with customers on key quotes

· Submit warranty claims that include labor to manufacturers

· Develop relationships with field technicians and provide support

· Backup warehouse and forklift as needed

· Other parts and service items as needed
