We are seeking a Service Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our call center team. This role plays a key part in delivering a top-tier customer experience by assisting service customers with appointment scheduling, providing updates, and supporting customer retention efforts.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all inbound and outbound calls professionally, following established scripts and guidelines
- Promptly answer incoming service inquiries and assist customers effectively
- Schedule and manage service appointments in line with dealership policies
- Accurately enter and maintain customer data in CRM systems
- Complete outbound call activities, including:
- No-show follow-ups
- Appointment confirmations
- Service reminders
- Lead follow-ups
- Task list completion
- Meet or exceed performance targets, including daily outbound call volume (approximately 125 calls/day)
- Ensure balanced appointment scheduling across the service department
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to company standards at all times
- Support additional duties as assigned
Qualifications - Previous automotive dealership experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong customer service background required
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up abilities
- Comfortable using computers and CRM platforms
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and motivation to succeed
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and mandatory Saturdays
