Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician to provide onsite IT support coverage for a temporary leave of absence. This individual will serve as the primary IT support resource at the Renton, WA location and must be able to operate independently with minimal onboarding and training. The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional who can quickly step into the environment, resolve common technical issues, support end users, and escalate complex incidents when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop and technical support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Perform device deployments, workstation setups, and hardware onboarding
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts
- Assist users with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) issues
- Troubleshoot mobile devices, including iPhones, Android devices, and iPads
- Manage Active Directory user account support and basic administration
- Diagnose and resolve common desktop support issues independently
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT teams
- Document incidents, requests, and resolutions within the ticketing system
- Deliver strong customer service while supporting local business operations
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Service Desk, Desktop Support, or End User Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows devices and common IT issues
- Experience with:
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365
- Hardware deployments and device setup
- MFA support
- Mobile device troubleshooting
- Desktop and laptop support
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage support requests effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Previous experience serving as the sole onsite IT support resource
- Experience working in a corporate enterprise environment

Team Environment
This technician will be the primary onsite IT support resource for the Renton location while remaining connected to a broader Service Desk organization for escalation and collaboration. Because this is a temporary backfill assignment, the team is seeking an experienced professional who can quickly become productive with limited ramp-up time.
