Title: Service Desk Technician
Location: Merrifield, VA
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation:
Pay Range;$35.00 Per Hr
Description
This position operates in a dynamic environment, supporting a 24/7 enterprise.
Located in the regional area, the role is hybrid and requires onsite presence 12 days a month.
The Service Desk Technician provides technical support, resolves customer incidents, and assists with service requests using various systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound calls and provide technical support.
Offer support through web queues, outbound interactions, and emails.
Utilize resources to resolve technical issues promptly.
Document and report functions using PC applications.
Escalate requests beyond scope when necessary.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the information technology field.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask with accuracy.
Desired: 3 years of Tier 1 support experience or similar.
