SERVICE DESK TEMP

Location; 100% onsite in Auburn, MA; Charlton, MA, if necessary, on occasion.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Desk Temp will act as the central point of contact for handling internal business partners technical support issues. This individual will be responsible for responding to issues by gathering all necessary information and to provide resolution during the initial contact or forward the issue to the correct support team for resolution. The primary focus is to assist the business with Deskside and Phone Support for IT incidents and requests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide first-level technical support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents, break-fix issues, and service requests related to Microsoft Office, SAP, and other business applications.
  • Install, configure, image, and provision hardware and software, ensuring all deployment and lifecycle management processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support end users with hardware, software, and application requests while following established provisioning and configuration procedures.
  • Deliver on-site technical support and, as knowledge of the client environment grows, provide remote support for the U.S. and Canada Call Center operations.
  • Manage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and IT assets using the ServiceNow ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with defined service levels.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, requests, and asset management activities within ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose technical issues, escalate complex problems when necessary, and ensure a high level of customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • 1 to 3 years Call Center experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency; A+ certification is a plus.
  • In depth knowledge of Windows operating system (Win10, Win11, Windows Services).
  • Familiarity with other operating system macOS / Linux beneficial.
  • Experience with remote desktop tools and remote support software
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
  • Understanding of networking concepts TCP/IP; DNS; DHCP and VPN.
  • Proficient in using Active Directory tools and manage users accounts, groups, permissions.
  • Remote tool Support.
