    A Bilingual Service Drive Greeter welcomes automotive service customers, provides fluent English and Spanish communication, manages traffic flow, and handles light housekeeping tasks—including restroom and waiting area touch-ups—to ensure a clean, hospitable, and organized environment. 

    Position Summary

    The Toyota Service Drive Greeter is the first point of contact for customers arriving for service and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient customer experience. This position is highly visible and customer-facing, requiring the team member to spend the majority of the workday standing and working outside on the service drive.

    The Greeter will warmly welcome customers, identify their needs, assist with directing traffic, and ensure each customer is connected with the appropriate Service Advisor. The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, attentive, comfortable working outdoors, and able to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Greet every customer promptly with a warm, professional, and enthusiastic welcome.

    Be the first point of contact for customers entering the service drive.

    Ask customers how you can assist them and determine whether they have a scheduled appointment, are dropping off a vehicle, need assistance, or have another service-related need.

    Confirm customer information and appointment details when appropriate.

    Direct customers to the appropriate Service Advisor, Parts, Waiting Area, or other department.

    Assist with managing the flow of vehicles through the service drive.

    Help direct customers where to proceed upon arrival.

    Monitor the service drive and communicate customer arrivals to the Service Advisors.

    Assist customers who may be unsure where to go or what to do upon arrival.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the service drive and customer entry area.

    Provide basic information regarding service hours, processes, waiting areas, and dealership amenities.

    Provide water or other refreshments to customers in the service lounge and ensure customers are comfortable while waiting.
    Provide upkeep of customer-facing areas, including periodic cleaning and restocking of service lounge and restroom areas.

    Recognize opportunities to enhance the customer experience and communicate concerns to management.

    Assist with answering basic customer questions and promptly escalate issues that require a Service Advisor or Manager.

    Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor during busy periods and challenging customer interactions.

    Support the Service Department in delivering a consistent and exceptional Toyota customer experience.

    Follow all dealership safety procedures and service-drive protocols.

    Customers should never have to wonder “Where do I go?” or “Is anyone going to help me?”

    The Greeter should remain alert to arriving customers and proactively approach them rather than waiting for customers to seek assistance.

    Qualifications

    Previous customer service, hospitality, automotive, or dealership experience preferred.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.

    Professional appearance and demeanor.

    Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
    Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Ability to work effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, cashiers, and other dealership departments.

    Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

    Must be comfortable working outside for the majority of the workday, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, and other weather conditions.

    Ability to safely navigate an active service drive with moving vehicles.

    Ability to lift or move light items as needed.

    Reliable attendance and punctuality.

    The Service Drive Greeter represents the dealership from the moment a customer arrives. Their goal is simple: make every customer feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of.
