You're tired of electrical jobs that steal your nights, your weekends, and your sanity.
You want solid hours, fair pay, and a team that respects the craft.
You want to do clean work, solve real problems, and leave homes better than you found them.
If you're a sharp residential service electrician who shows up, communicates well, and takes pride in doing it right, keep reading.
DrainWorks is built around solving problems, not just showing up and checking boxes. We're more than plumbers. We're a team focused on keeping things running smoothly, and that mindset matters if you're stepping in as our Service Electrician.
If you care about mastering your craft, being accountable, staying engaged, and working with integrity, you'll feel it here. This is meant to be a great place to work for people who take their trade seriously.
Your day is about walking into a home, finding the issue fast, and making it feel manageable for the homeowner. You diagnose clearly, explain options in plain English, and do clean, code-safe work people can trust.
You'll be the person who makes stressful problems feel simple. You respect the home, price fairly, stand behind your work, and leave people relieved you were the one who showed up.
This role fits someone who likes ownership. Someone who wants their skill, efficiency, and professionalism to actually matter every single day.
We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.
Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.
The process:
You'll earn $40-$50 per hour, working 40 to 50 hours a week. On top of that, there's a sign-on bonus, a 3% retirement match, paid holidays, paid time off, your birthday off with pay, a $150 yearly boot credit, company-paid contributions toward health insurance premiums, and continuing education.
This job comes with a 4-day work week, no weekends, and no on-call. That's a big deal if you want to do great work without giving up your whole life.
You'll also get regular team huddles, company events, and a crew that believes in accountability, engagement, integrity, and mastering the craft. If you want a place that takes the trade seriously and still wants to be a great place to work, that's the point here.
This is not for someone who cuts corners, shows up late, avoids communication, or treats homes with disrespect. Homeowners need to trust you, and so do we.
You'll likely thrive here if you're the kind of residential service electrician who takes pride in being the calmest, sharpest person in the room when something goes wrong. You move with urgency, follow code, value safety, and communicate in a way that makes people trust you fast.
If that sounds like you, apply now. Good electricians know what a solid setup looks like when they see it.
