    Description

    At Performance Electrical Contracting in Jacksonville, FL, we need a service electrician who can show up to a commercial or residential job, figure it out, and get it done — with little to no help. If you know your code, take pride in clean work, and know how to talk to a customer, we want to talk to you.

    What You'll Do
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues on commercial and residential service calls
    • Install and repair wiring, panels, fixtures, outlets, switches, and more
    • Run your own jobs from start to finish with little to no supervision
    • Figure out the right materials and approach to get each job done right
    • Test your work before you leave to make sure it's done correctly
    • Keep the job site neat, organized, and cleaned up when you're done
    • Talk directly with customers, explain what you found and what you fixed
    • Teach and mentor helpers you're working with on the job
    • Keep accurate notes on what you did, what you used, and your time
    • Follow all safety rules and OSHA requirements on every job
    What You Need
    • Several years of experience as an electrician, commercial and residential
    • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or state equivalent)
    • Solid knowledge of both commercial and residential code
    • Proven ability to work independently and get the job done without a crew
    • A good attitude and comfort dealing with customers face to face
    • Valid driver's license with a clean record
    • High school diploma or GED
