JL Electrical Service Contractor Corp is looking to hire a full-time Electrician/Service Technician (Residential/Commercial) to be the main point of contact between the customer and the company.

Qualifications 

• Relevant experience working as an electrician (residential strongly preferred) 

• Must have 3 to 5 years minimum of electrical service experience  

• Have a valid Florida Driver's License and a clean driving record 

• High school or equivalent (Preferred) 

Responsibilities 

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, and other electrical systems 

• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for smart home and other systems 

• Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.) 

• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components 

• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them 

• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc. 

• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units 

• Engage in company-provided sales and technical training, as well as professional development activities consistently 

• Report directly to the Service Manager 

Skills 

• Proven experience as an electrician 

• Excellent presentation and organization skills 

• Experience in residential electrical systems 

• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints 

• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines 

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability 

• Excellent physical condition 

• Diploma in relevant vocational training or completed apprenticeship as an electrician 

• Bilingual
