Kidwell is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and customer-obsessed Commercial Service Electrician who loves solving problems, delivering top-notch service, and helping a high-performing team crush it every day.

If you're confident troubleshooting and repairing commercial electrical systems, know the Electrical Code Book inside and out, and get a kick out of making customers' lives easier, this is your opportunity. This role puts you front and center with our customers, traveling to job sites across the region and making a real, visible impact. Bonus: This position is built as a launching pad - outstanding performers in this role can move into a Service Manager position as we continue our rapid growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Team up with our Service Coordinator to schedule, plan, and knock out service calls based on customer needs and urgency
  • Lead and mentor apprentices - train them on expert troubleshooting, quality repairs, and killer customer service
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and deliver timely, high-quality solutions
  • Install and repair wiring, fixtures, and electrical systems while keeping everything code-compliant and professional
  • Use project plans on small-to-medium jobs to work efficiently, reduce waste, and set up systems for easy future maintenance
  • Collaborate with our estimation team on design-build projects and help refine scopes for winning bids
  • Coordinate scope changes and pull in extra support from leadership when needed
  • Build strong, lasting relationships that bring customers back for more work

What We're Looking For:

  • Journeyman's license and previous experience managing small to medium job sites required

  • Minimum 6 years of field experience preferred

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and proven customer service abilities

  • A genuine passion for building great teams and creating growth opportunities for others

  • Candidates who are excited to grow and advance their career in the electrical service trade will thrive here

  • Must pass a physical exam and drug screening, and maintain a valid driver's license
