Service Employee- Fleet Care Transdev in Lakewood, Washington is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee.The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: + Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.50 per hour - Maximum $19.50 pe r hour Benefits include: + Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks + Sick days: 1 earned for every 40 hours + Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating + Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior + Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles + Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids + Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes + Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities. + Report maintenance issues to supervisor + Other duties as required. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. + Must be able to meet company and contract specific hiring requirements to include driving record and criminal background check Physical Requirements: + Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations + Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces + Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level + Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
