SummaryHexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence business area is seeking a Service Engineer to support customers throughout Florida territory. The position is remote, home‑based and requires regional travel to customer worksites within central Florida territory.Why Join UsBe part of a global leader in measurement technologies and digital reality solutions.Work remotely while supporting customers across the Orlando region.Collaborate with a forward‑thinking team committed to innovation and customer success.Gain exposure to advanced Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and high‑precision technologies.Learn from experienced technical experts with deep product and industry knowledge.What You'll DoInstall, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain CMM systems at customer locations.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑related system issues and implement corrective actions.Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers on machine operation and preventive maintenance.Accurately document service activities and submit detailed service reports.Partner cross‑functionally with technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction while managing service schedules effectively.Travel throughout the Orlando territory (up to 100%) to support customer needs.Lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted and work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including overtime as required.QualificationsMust be located in Central Florida.Technical degree (technical school, associate, or bachelor's) in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, Mechatronics, or related field, or military technical school training and experience.Hands‑on experience using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting capabilities.Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to regularly lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.Prior experience with CMM equipment or industrial automation is preferred.Work EnvironmentEmployees must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable employees with disabilities to perform essential job functions, absent undue hardship.
