Service Engineer

Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Service Engineer, where your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer support and service for our cutting-edge machinery. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining and troubleshooting plastic injection stretch blow molding machines, ensuring our customers' operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you'll be expected to:

• Utilize your professional expertise to uphold safety standards in line with OSHA and state regulations, while working with energy and discipline.
• Deliver on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of machinery, as well as diagnose and repair existing equipment, all while striving for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relations, ensuring a professional presence and effective communication at all times.
• Leverage all available resources to provide top-notch customer service and develop organized approaches to solving machine issues.
• Offer telephone support to customers as necessary, and provide guidance to plant staff on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with our International Sales, Service, and Design Departments to resolve field issues, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
• Maintain clear and organized service and expense reports, and adhere to our company's policies and values of customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and discipline.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills with expertise in troubleshooting complex machine issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Education and/or Experience

An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, is preferred. Alternatively, 3 years of experience with ASB Injection Stretch Blow Molding machines or 5 years with similar machines in the plastics industry.

Additional Information

• Requires approximately 75% travel to customer sites across the United States and Canada.
• Includes a three-month on-site training period in Georgia before independent travel begins.
• Offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 based on experience plus annual bonus potential!
