Service Engineer Port Arthur, TX 6 months Pay: $34.64 - 38.14 per hour Description: Job Summary: Service Engineers are required to design, install, or repair equipment related to different sectors of technology world. Their repair and installation duties may be performed at client's home or in a place of business. These engineers can work both in public and private sector in electronic manufacturing companies. Primary Responsibilities: Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment. Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications. Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times. Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner. Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated. Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements. Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues. Qualifications: Degree in related discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, etc) and/or equivalent work experience Does candidate need to be within a certain radius from the site? Must be within 0-20 kilometers EHS Indicator- Maintenance Is this additional worker directly involved in production, i.e. for an incremental output increase? Yes
