Position Summary

The Service & Installation Plumber / Pipe-fitter is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair work on plumbing and piping systems in commercial and public buildings. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water heaters, tankless systems, filtration systems, and gas lines
• Perform installation and retrofit work for drain, sewer, and water distribution systems
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to ensure proper operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices and helpers on job sites
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems, or equivalent training and experience
• Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, but not required
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $16 - $40 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Work Environment

This is a field-based role that may include:

• Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Driving to and between job sites
• Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Working with construction materials, tools, and equipment
