Service Lane Greeter

We are hiring a Service Lane Greeter to join our team at our brand-new dealership, Genesis of Downers Grove.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to fill a Greeter position. In this role, you will interact with customers as they arrive in the service department, answering basic questions they may have and directing them to the appropriate Service Advisor. You will also inform our guests about our current service promotions, which will encourage them to continue servicing their vehicle with us. This is a customer service role rather than a service advisor position, but our team does rely on you to provide a welcoming environment and exceptional experience to each potential service client. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive
• Provide information on our current services and promotions
• Provide advice or direct guests to the appropriate service advisor
• Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones
• Notify service manager or service advisor about any potential issues

What You'll Will Bring to the Team:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive and hardworking personality
• Basic computer knowledge
• An understanding of vehicles and their service needs a plus
• Friendly and positive attitude

Service Lane Greeter: $19/hour
Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts
