Huffines Service Manager Job Description:

The Genesis Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Genesis Service Department, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maximizing productivity, profitability, and team performance. This position leads service advisors, technicians, and support staff, maintains manufacturer standards, and works closely with dealership leadership to achieve operational and financial objectives.

Service Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the Genesis Service Department.
• Coach, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience from appointment through vehicle delivery.
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction (CSI) and guest retention.
• Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain effective scheduling and shop workflow to maximize technician productivity.
• Monitor department sales, gross profit, labor performance, and expense control.
• Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely parts availability.
• Review warranty administration and ensure compliance with Genesis manufacturer policies.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service department.
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members.
• Analyze department performance reports and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.

Service Manager Qualifications:

• Previous automotive Service Manager experience required.
• Luxury automotive experience preferred; Genesis, Hyundai, Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Cadillac, or similar luxury brand experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proven success improving CSI and service department performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).
• Ability to motivate teams and achieve departmental goals.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver''s license with an acceptable driving record.
