Job Title: Service Manager (Shop Manager)
Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $20.00 $25.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Day Shift (Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to oversee daily shop operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing technicians, ensuring efficient repair workflows, maintaining safety standards and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. If you have a background in construction or automotive service and experience leading teams, this is a great opportunity to step into a key management role.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Oversee day-to-day service shop operations
  
• 
  Lead, train, and mentor technicians to maximize performance and efficiency
  
• 
  Schedule work and manage workflow to meet production goals
  
• 
  Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  
• 
  Manage inventory, parts and supplies
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards
  
• 
  Monitor productivity and support continuous improvement efforts

  Communicate effectively with customers, staff and management
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 
  Previous experience managing a service shop or team required
  
• 
  Background in construction, automotive or related field preferred

  Strong leadership and team management skills

  Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  
• 
  Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (OSHA)
