Overview
We are looking to add qualified Service Manager to our team!
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve departmental goals, ensuring all performance and production objectives are met
- Promote a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring every team member delivers courteous, professional service
- Recruit, train, develop, and motivate service staff, while monitoring performance and providing ongoing coaching
- Maintain accurate daily sales, productivity, and performance records as required by dealership leadership
- Develop, manage, and monitor the service department budget, reporting variances to dealership management
- Ensure the department meets all CSI and financial targets, driving continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive service experience
- Develop and implement promotional service pricing to support business growth
- Ensure proper and safe repair techniques are consistently used by technicians
- Coordinate ongoing training to ensure staff can properly diagnose, repair, and service vehicles
- Stay current on new products, model updates, and technical changes impacting vehicle service
- Ensure all shop equipment is maintained, safe, and in proper working conditions
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, hazardous waste disposal, and other service-related requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by dealership management
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive service management experience
- Proven salesâ€'driven background with a strong focus on achieving performance goals
- High CSI results and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Experience leading and managing a team of 10+ employees (preferred)
- CDK experience strongly preferred
- Selfâ€'motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional appearance, communication, and work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a structured, processâ€'driven environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
