Daily Responsibilities
A day in the life includes:
- Leading and training a team of technicians to deliver high-quality wildlife exclusion and pest control services, ensuring that all service standards are met.
- Conducting regular field inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and monitor the quality-of-service delivery.
- Managing routing and scheduling to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency, balancing workloads across the team.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of new team members, fostering their development and maintaining service excellence.
- Overseeing service fleet maintenance within the district, ensuring vehicles are properly serviced and operational at all times.
- Acting as a resource for service and customer satisfaction, addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and working to improve customer retention.
- Covering open routes and jobs when necessary due to employee vacations or turnover, maintaining continuity of service.
- Managing district chemical orders and wildlife control supplies, ensuring all materials are adequately stocked and properly managed (M&S management).
- Monitoring and managing accounts receivable in partnership with the District Manager to ensure timely payments and account resolution.
- Conducting regular ride-alongs with technicians, providing real-time feedback and ongoing training to support continuous improvement.
- Ensuring employee licensure and assisting with renewals, ensuring all district employees are in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
What do you need to be successful?
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to travel up to 10%
- Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA within 60 days of start date
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields
- Ability to work in the field independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using several types of software and applications
