Service Mechanics to prep rental eqiupment. To be able to work on forklifts and aerial equipment and do basic repairs as needed. Mechanic work would be in the shop.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent, certifications on industrial equipment is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform basic repairs on aerial equipment and other material handling type equipment as directed by the service department.
Conduct thorough inspections on forklift and aerial lift equipment to identify repairs that are needed and note all findings on workorders.
Use proper test equipment for troubleshooting
Coordinate with parts department to obtain parts needed for repairs.
Accurately and legibly complete paperwork such as workorders, time cards, etc. and turn in on a timely basis
Maintain professional appearance and attitude
Dependable and punctual
Comply with all quality and safety policies with our company guidelines
Complete required training by manufacturer standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical degree or experience working on aerial lifts, forklifts, automotive, farm equipment, or other types of heavy equipment. Any electrical or mechanical experience is a preferable
