    Senior Service Now Developer
    Mode of Interview: Microsoft Teams
    Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite)


    I. Position Overview
    Client is seeking an experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst III to support enterprise application development initiatives with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform.
    The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow modules and custom applications while ensuring compliance with agency standards, DIR guidelines, and W3C accessibility requirements. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable ITSM solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

    II. Key Responsibilities
    • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules and custom applications
    • Implement and deploy ServiceNow solutions for TCEQ projects
    • Configure:
    o Workflows
    o Business rules
    o Client/server scripts
    o Integrations with external systems
    • Ensure solutions align with:
    o ServiceNow best practices
    o ITIL-based ITSM processes
    o TCEQ, DIR, and W3C standards
    • Perform ServiceNow administration, upgrades, and enhancements
    • Support System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

    III. Required Qualifications
    Minimum Experience
    • 8+ years of advanced experience with ServiceNow platform and scripting
    • 7+ years of experience with:
    o Flow Designer
    o Service Catalog
    o System integrations
    • 7+ years of experience with ITIL-based ITSM processes
    • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and platform updates
    Core Skills
    • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices
    • Expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, etc.)
    • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems (APIs, web services)
    • Solid understanding of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
    • Familiarity with accessibility standards (W3C compliance)

    IV. Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working with government agencies or public sector clients
    • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or CIS)
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
