Quality Truck & Equipment Co. is seeking an experienced, results-driven Service Manager (not a service writer this position much more) to help take our company to the next level. We are looking for a motivated leader who can increase shop productivity, expand our customer base, and significantly grow revenue by tripling our mechanic workforce.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute strategies to increase shop sales and service revenue.

· Recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified diesel and truck equipment mechanics.

· Manage daily shop operations, workflow, scheduling, and productivity.

· Build relationships with fleet managers, municipalities, contractors, agricultural operations, and trucking companies.

· Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence throughout Central Illinois.

· Establish performance goals, track key metrics, and implement continuous improvements.

· Ensure exceptional customer service and timely completion of repairs.

· Oversee parts, labor efficiency, and profitability.

· Collaborate with ownership to create and implement long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

· Proven success in operations management, sales management, service management, or a related leadership role.

· Strong understanding of truck, diesel, equipment, fleet, or heavy-duty repair operations preferred.

· Demonstrated ability to recruit and build high-performing teams.

· Strong sales, networking, and customer relationship skills.

· Experience managing budgets, productivity, and operational performance.

· Self-motivated leader with an entrepreneurial mindset.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
