TEAM FORD LINCOLN is now taking applications for a Service Scheduler/Operator. We are looking for someone with an upbeat, welcoming, and encouraging personality who will work well with our staff. We are open Monday Friday 7 am - 6 pm and Saturday 7 am - 5 pm. Must have outstanding customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties include answering and scheduling appointments, filtering calls, and transferring to the correct department. Additional tasks will be assigned as you gain more experience in our department and for cross-training purposes. Applicants must be 18 years (or older).

Operator/Scheduler Duties include:

  • Answering and scheduling appointments, filtering calls, transferring to the correct department
  • Clear, cordial phone etiquette
  • Ability to work well in a busy high stress environment
  • Team player, while also being able to work independently
  • Great listening and problem-solving skills
  • MUST be great at multitasking
  • Ability to self-start and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • MUST be responsible, mature, and have a positive attitude
  • Be prepared and on time, and have great attendance
  • Microsoft Office skills are a plus, must be proficient with email and data entry
  • Automotive knowledge is a huge plus but not necessarily required

Cashier/Customer Service Duties include maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, processing Service and Sales guests accurately and efficiently, and cashiering operations.

  • Provide the very best in customer service by greeting customers upon entrance into the cashier area.
  • Maintain clean and orderly cashier and waiting areas.
  • Count money in cash drawers
  • Accurately ensure that all tenders balance at the end of the shift.
  • Properly enroll guests into loyalty programs, including purchases.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary and assigned by management, which may at times include assisting in other departments.

Required Skills:

Good verbal and written communication is required as well as good math skills and problem-solving skills.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Cashier Experience
  • Upbeat Attitude and Motivated
  • Outstanding Customer Service
