Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Order Dispatcher to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Job Summary
 
Service Order Dispatcher receives customer requests and dispatches work orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio equipment, email, or telephone. 

Responsibilities Other duties/tasks as assigned
 
  • Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customer’s requests for service.   
  • Records information such as name, address, and article to be repaired or service to be rendered.   
  • Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.  Maintains a record of service calls and work orders.   
  • Works jointly with other administrative roles to ensure synchronization between both contractors and governments reporting systems.   
Qualifications and/or Work Experience Requirements 
  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Be a self-starter and have proficient typing skills.   
  • Basic math and telephone etiquette skills.   
  • Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.   
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential.   
  • Will also have knowledge and general proficiency in GFEBS, Maximo, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other required software that is used at the job site.  
  • Experience in O&M to include support of a work force that is responsible for O&M and repair of all facility systems, subsystems, and selected equipment typically found in a Base Operating Services contract.  
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.  
  • Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Assists in a variety of administrative responsibilities.
