Service Packer

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 

 

The Service Packer is responsible for properly packing outgoing Member and Employee orders. This role will also ensure all machinery is fully functional before starting the packaging process. It will confirm sufficient stock of accurate literature packets and packaging materials is available daily.   Must be flexible to with work schedule and able to work overtime, Saturdays, and Holidays to meet business needs.

 

 

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

 

• Responsible for ensuring each shipping box/package is accurately packed following departmental shipping standards and guidelines.  
• Organize, sort and load/unload shipping boxes to proper designated staging area.
• Assist in maintaining all department hardware in good working condition and appearance.  Hardware includes: scanners, printers, PTL modules, conveyor, tapers, strapping machine, air pillow machine, box erectors, computers, and other related items. Notify the lead or supervisor of signs of damage or irregularities on any equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues.
• Follow and adhere all Herbalife policies, rules and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

 

• Interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision

 

Experience:

 

• 1 year of general warehouse experience
• 1 year order picking, packing and shipping experience
• Customer service experience

 

Education:

 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Forklift certified
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Pick-To-Light order selection
• General Inventory processes
