Job Responsibilities:

The Service Parts Planner is responsible for coordinating the planning, movement, system processing, and delivery of service parts to support customer requirements. This position manages service-part activities from material coordination through shipment, ensuring accurate SAP transactions, transportation coordination, documentation, and timely communication with the Customer's Materials team.

The Service Parts Planner works independently across Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, and Planning functions to ensure service-part requirements are executed accurately and on time. The position is also responsible for maintaining documentation and KPI tracking related to Stock Transport Order (STO) execution and service-parts performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate service-parts planning and fulfillment to ensure customer requirements are met through accurate material coordination, inventory management, order processing, and on-time delivery.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison by providing timely updates on order status, material availability, shipments, shortages, and delivery performance while ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Manage SAP transactions and Stock Transport Orders (STOs) by processing material movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring transaction integrity.
• Coordinate transportation and shipment activities including carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, expedited deliveries, and preparation of shipping documentation to support customer commitments.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, and Planning teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure uninterrupted service-part availability.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, reporting, documentation management, process optimization, and proactive identification of material, system, or transportation risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, logistics, procurement, warehouse operations, or service-parts management.
• Experience with SAP MM (required/preferred) and SAP WM (preferred).
• Strong understanding of inventory management, material planning, transportation, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data tracking/reporting tools.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
