Description:

HORSCH LLC seeks a Spare Parts professional to plan, forecast, purchase, and support dealer/customer service for spare parts across the U.S., partnering closely with Canada. This role ensures parts availability through demand planning, SAP/ERP execution, inventory strategy, product change management, and proactive coordination with dealers, internal Service teams, global planners, suppliers, and parts warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dealer/Customer Support & Service Coordination

• Resolve delivery and quality issues with Field teams, warehouses, suppliers, and internal partners; coordinate expedited orders to minimize downtime.

• Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Analyze usage trends and build/adjust forecasts to improve accuracy and prevent excess/obsolete inventory.

• Set and maintain inventory parameters (min/max, reorder points, safety stock) and segment parts by velocity/criticality to meet service-level and inventory value targets.

• Supply Management (SAP/ERP)

• Execute replenishment in SAP/ERP (PR/PO creation, confirmations, rescheduling, expediting) for forecasted and exception demand.

• Manage constraints (lead times, MOQs, capacity), resolve shortages/backorders, and maintain accurate master data and transactions.

• Inventory & Warehouse Collaboration

• Monitor inventory health (availability, turns, aging, obsolescence) and drive actions (transfers, substitutions, returns, disposition) to meet demand within inventory goals.

• Support return receipt and closure as needed, ensuring proper disposition and system completion.

• Product Changes (ECO) & New Product Support

• Manage supersessions, phase-in/phase-out, and ECO impacts to ensure service continuity.

• Partner with Manufacturing, Service, R&D, Purchasing, and Marketing to support launches and parts readiness.

• Additional Duties

• Coordinate cross-functionally and with global/regional planning to align plans and resolve issues.

• Track/report KPIs (fill rate, backorders, OTIF, turns, aging/obsolescence, supplier OTD, forecast accuracy) and drive corrective actions.

• Standardize and improve planning, purchasing, expediting, transfer, and dealer communication processes.

Qualifications:

• Required

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (ag equipment background preferred).

• Experience in service supply chain/logistics supporting spare parts (OEM aftermarket/service preferred).

• Proven cross-functional coordination across planning, expediting, warehouse, manufacturing, service, engineering, and purchasing.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• ERP experience (SAP preferred) with disciplined documentation/transaction accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook.

• Preferred

• Purchasing/buying and supply planning experience (5+ years).

• Experience with ECOs, product launches, and cross-functional launch readiness (Marketing/Service).

• Cycle count/inventory audit experience.

• Experience resolving delivery and part quality issues with Field teams/customers.

• Previous Agricultural Equipment Spare Parts support experience

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Individuals may need to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods.
• The position may require reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
• The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses with side shields, is required.

Location: Cottage Grove, MN; travel to HORSCH parts warehouses in Downs, IL and Mapleton, ND as required by business needs (day trips/overnights).
