Job Summary

P & R Canvas is known as one of the largest custom marine canvas manufacturing, design, and installation companies in the U.S.

The Service, Pattern, Installer requires a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. The Service, Pattern, Installer works installing fabrics, marine hardware and canvas, and outdoor fabrics.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assists the Lead Canvas Tech with marine canvas products (Biminis, enclosures, covers, and cushions)
• Assists the pattern development process
• Installs marine hardware such as fasteners, tracks, and miscellaneous hardware
• Measures and installs canvas
• Maintains a clean working area and shop

• Experience measuring materials and installing hardware

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
• Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting
• Requires the ability to use speech, vision and hearing
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
