TITLE SERVICE PLUMBER REPORTS TO SERVICE MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
This position is synonymous with a Journeyman" position in the trades. This position has 5 or more years of experience and is considered to have mastery knowledge of commercial plumbing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists with daily guidance training and direction to the plumbing crew. • Performs work under minimal supervision. • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher level staff. • Assembles installs and repairs plumbing systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. • These systems may consist of pipes fittings fixtures and boilers for hydronic heating water drainage systems and medgas. • Adheres to project safety and job quality by performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures. • Maintains a professional demeanor with field team general contractors ownerscustomers and vendors to support a positive work environment. • Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. • Ability to review and interpret blueprints plans manuals building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures. • Good analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations. • Possesses good communication skills with an ability to follow directions. • High level of manual dexterity and an ability to lift and move heavy objects. • Physical stamina required. • Ability to work independently in a timely manner making sure job is done correctly the first time.
