Job Overview:
- Provide residential plumbing service, repair, and installation for homeowners
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of plumbing fixtures and systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in accordance with plumbing codes and specifications
- Repair and install fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures including water heaters, dishwashers, sinks, and toilets
- Utilize soldering, brazing, and welding equipment as needed to complete plumbing repairs and installations
- Communicate repair recommendations and upgrade options clearly and professionally with customers
- Perform minor to major re-pipe projects with attention to quality workmanship and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of residential plumbing service and installation experience
- Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required, or eligibility to obtain licensing
- Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment preferred
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
