Urgently Hiring - Service Porter

Pay: $17-$22 Hourly

Schedule: This is a full-time opportunity. We will discuss days and hours at interview. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Ideal candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods.

Department Hours: Monday-Friday 7 am-5:30 pm and Saturday 7 am-4 pm.

This position is located onsite and reports to the Service Manager.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers. Help us earn customers for life by creating welcoming and trusted experiences for our customers.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as the advisor directs.
• Maintain organization of the parking lot and service department work areas.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.

What You'll Bring

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Comfort in operating several cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.

• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs.
• Have a desire to grow with us in this automotive industry
• We prefer a candidate with car industry experience but may consider one with relative experience.

Total Rewards

The earning range for this position is $17 to $22 hourly.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
