Chapman Ford Pro Elite is looking for a dependable and motivated Service Porter to join our service team. As a Service Porter, you will play an important role in creating a positive customer experience by safely moving vehicles, keeping the service department organized, and helping the service team operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle flow in the service department
- Safely operate customer and dealership vehicles, including large and oversized vehicles
- Check and maintain service vehicles, including fuel, oil, water, and tire pressure
- Maintain inventory of service supplies, including key tags, floor mats, and seat covers
- Help keep the service drive, shop, and surrounding work areas clean and organized
- Perform courtesy vehicle washes as requested
- Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicles and performing daily duties
- Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure an efficient and positive customer experience
- Support the service team with additional tasks to ensure an efficient customer experience
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes, including large and oversized vehicles
- Manual transmission driving experience is required
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Customer service, lot attendant, or related experience is helpful but not required
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to help customers and coworkers
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
