We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, particularly in supermarkets, cold storage, commercial, and industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems, including supermarkets, single systems, parallel racks, display cases, and walk-in boxes.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor control systems.
- Conduct leak detection procedures and ensure system efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely and high-quality repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records with photos and notes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:- Minimum 4 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration/freezer systems.
- Knowledge of Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, including package units and split systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA certification required.
- High school diploma or GED.
