Service Repair Estimator
Location: Monmouth County, NJ

Pay: $40-$50/hour + Comprehensive Benefits

Join a respected and well-established mechanical contracting company serving the Monmouth County, NJ area. We're seeking a motivated Service Repair Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering accurate, timely estimates that keep service operations moving.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop accurate, same-day or rapid-turnaround estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service repairs.
* Review technician notes, photos, site information, and customer requests to determine labor, materials, and equipment requirements.
* Prepare customer proposals, communicate scope details, and secure approvals while collaborating with dispatch, field technicians, and operations.
* Track estimate activity, support emergency service requests, and help improve estimating processes for greater efficiency and revenue growth.

Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of estimating, service operations, or field experience within HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
* Strong understanding of service repair work, including troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment replacements.
* Ability to develop accurate estimates quickly while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organizational, computer, and customer service skills; Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience with service estimating, inside sales, or mechanical contracting software.
* Field technician or project support background with knowledge of labor units, material pricing, and service workflows.
