The Service Repair Technician provides Medical Device Service and Repair, on assigned product lines. Follows all procedures related to quality system and provides full DHR document repair write up for the repair. Will assist in all customer requests and work with department team on product flow of customer property.

The Service Repair Technician trains and performs service repairs on customer returned equipment and provides timely repair flow for customer returns. Document and process all equipment paperwork for DHR record storage. Work with service team for processing the customer equipment from receiving back to the customer's shipment. Provide product knowledge for customer feedback when necessary.

  • Ability to understand the details of Bills of Material, Schematic Drawings, and Blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Business computer systems (CRM, D365, excel, etc.) in the areas of Data Entry, and Field Service Logs.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment, soldering, and typical hand tools.
  • Experience in circuit board testing and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Analytical abilities to diagnose repair needs of improperly functioning products.
  • Required to maintain a clean work bench area within service department, bench test equipment, and hand tools.
  • Required to take on new training for new product lines that the company acquires.

The good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $39,955 to $52,237. The actual amount offered is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to location, skills and experience.

  • Verifies and tests all repaired equipment to final quality control specifications utilizing computer interface, custom test equipment, meters, scopes, and alignment equipment.
  • Learn and utilize company systems D365, CRM, and spreadsheets to document and perform repair process.
  • Communicate repair quotes generated in the system to the customer for approvals.
  • Maintain calibration test equipment for repairs.
  • Maintain and audit parts stocking levels for repairs.
  • Provide complaint data for repairs to product surveillance team.
  • Maintain updated training records in Master Control system.
