Service Sales Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Join Mettler Toledo Rainin as a Service Sales Manager and play a key role in expanding service revenue across the United States. In this highly visible position, you will partner with seven Territory Sales Representatives to uncover new service opportunities, grow recurring revenue, and strengthen customer relationships within Life Sciences accounts. This role offers the opportunity to own the entire service sales cycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact business growth while traveling up to 50%.

What You'll Do

• Drive the service sales strategy and achieve targets for new business, renewals, and service revenue growth.
• Partner with Territory Sales Representatives to identify, qualify, and pursue service opportunities across Life Science accounts nationwide.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and conversion planning.
• Meet with customers to understand their service needs, conduct business reviews, and recommend tailored service solutions.
• Lead the complete sales process from proposal development and presentation through negotiation and contract close.
• Expand service penetration within existing accounts while developing new customer relationships and uncovering untapped market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, District Managers, and Service Operations to deliver profitable service agreements and exceptional customer value.

What You Need to Succeed

• 2+ years of experience in Life Sciences, service sales, technical sales, or a related customer-facing role.
• Proven track record of prospecting, developing, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities.
• Strong ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue growth targets.
• Excellent consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and business planning abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; ability to communicate technical solutions effectively and travel up to 50%.
